The name Freak the Mighty

I actually think that Freak is kind of selfish making the name Freak the Mighty. At the beginning of our groups, we thought that Max's nickname was Mighty, which  is not, so now I think that Freak is saying he is mighty (Freak the Mighty) but it's actually Max that is the Mighty one. (The name doesn't include Max in any way just by looking at it).



KILLER KANE, KILLER KANE, HAD A KID WHO GOT NO BRAIN

When I read the chapter "Killer Kane, Killer Kane, had a kid who got no brain" the book started to get kind-of unrealistic to me.
(Quote for text) "The shouting and singing goes on and on,and pretty soon some of the kids are throwing stuff at us, pencils and erasers and wadded-up paper, and it's like Mrs. Donelli has no idea what to do about it, the room is out of control."
Like why would the kids throw stuff? He just didn't answer a question...so what?
If this was a real class, Mrs. Donelli would do something, not have no idea what to do about it!

Freak the Mighty

I think the author did a better job in the middle and end of the book than the begginning because when I just started reading I thought it was not that interesting but now I love the book...mostly the part where Killer Kane comes in.
